蹤獲扦-Dearborn continues to climb in U.S. News annual rankings

The university now ranks fourth among regional public universities in the Midwest.

University of Michigan-Dearborn moved up one spot among public universities in the Midwest in U.S. News & World Reports annual guide to American colleges and universities. 蹤獲扦-Dearborn is the top-ranked regional public university in Michigan. The university ranked fourth among regional public universities and 33rd among all regional universities in the Midwest. This marks the 17th consecutive year the university was rated as one of the regions best.

According to the magazine, overall rankings are based on data on up to 15 indicators of academic excellence, including first-year retention rate, graduation rate and strength of faculty. 

In college-specific listings, U.S. News again recognized 蹤獲扦-Dearborns undergraduate business and engineering programs. The College of Business was again ranked as the third best undergraduate business program in the state. This was the 11th consecutive year the program has appeared on the list. The College of Engineering and Computer Science was ranked among the best ABET-accredited undergraduate engineering programs for universities that offer doctoral degree programs. This is the fourth year CECS has been included in the doctoral program category. U.S. News previously ranked the program among the best offered at masters-level institutions for 18 consecutive years.

New this year, 蹤獲扦-Dearborn was the top-ranked regional public university in Michigan on the list of and ranked 12th among regional universities in the Midwest. The list includes colleges that are more successful than others at advancing social mobility by enrolling and graduating large proportions of Pell Grant eligible students. 
and will appear in the magazines annual guidebook to Americas Best Colleges.

In rankings released earlier this summer, named 蹤獲扦-Dearborn to its Best Bang for the Buck Midwest rankings, which recognized the university for offering marketable degrees at an affordable cost. Money Magazine also included 蹤獲扦-Dearborn on its which, according to the publication, includes schools that successfully combine quality and affordability.
