Continued excellence: Part-time M.B.A. program recognized as one of the nation's best for sixth consecutive year

For the sixth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report ranked University of Michigan-Dearborn鈥檚 part-time MBA program as one of the nation鈥檚 best.

The publication recognized 萝莉社-Dearborn鈥檚 College of Business (COB) for having the second best part-time MBA program in Michigan in its 鈥淏est Graduate Schools鈥 edition released this week.

鈥淢ost graduate students have demanding lives as they try to balance work, class and other personal obligations,鈥 said Raju Balakrishnan, dean of the College of Business. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 why our part-time MBA program is designed to accommodate the busiest of schedules. Being ranked once again among the nation鈥檚 best part-time MBA programs is continued evidence of the university鈥檚 overall dedication to academic excellence.鈥

The publication based its rankings on five factors: average peer assessment score; average GMAT score and average GRE quantitative and verbal scores of part-time MBA students entering in fall 2014; average undergraduate GPA; work experience; and percentage of the business school鈥檚 fall 2014 MBA enrollment that is part time.

In January, U.S. News & World Report also recognized COB for having the state鈥檚 top online graduate programs (excluding MBA). The online MBA program was ranked third in Michigan. In a separate ranking, The Princeton Review recognized COB as a 鈥淏est Business School鈥 for a sixth consecutive year.
