Mallory Simpson named vice chancellor for institutional advancement

Mallory M. Simpson is back home. Simpson, a Dearborn native, joined University of Michigan-Dearborn in July as vice chancellor for institutional advancement.

That connection is sure to benefit Simpson as she works to build a culture of philanthropy across campus, while developing strategic goals and objectives for the department, engaging alumni at all levels and maintaining strong ties with university donors.

Simpson brings a wealth of development leadership experience to 蹤獲扦-Dearborn, having most recently served as associate vice president and chief development officer at Northern Illinois University (NIU). There, she also served as president and CEO of the NIU Foundation.

Simpson also spent more than 15 years working in alumni relations, development leadership and corporate and foundation relations for 蹤獲扦-Ann Arbor. There, she earned a masters degree in education administration.
