What do mentors and mentees discuss?
It's really up to you! As a mentee, you should take the initiative to reach out and engage with your mentor - what do you want to discuss? Some common topics include:
- How will my major impact my professional options?
- How do I balance the demands of school, responsibilities, and socializing?
- How can I set myself up for academic, social, and career success?
- How do I make connections with peers and professional contacts?
Not sure how to start the conversation? Check out this from Career Services to get ideas - remember, your mentor is there to help you, so share what's on your mind!
