Basic Admission Requirements
Are You Qualified to Apply?
All graduate applicants should have completed a four-year bachelor鈥檚 degree from a regionally-accredited university or college, or its equivalent.
- Note that certain degrees may not be recognized as equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree. Three-year bachelor degrees from India, Canada, Australia, or certain other countries may not qualify you for graduate admission as a standalone credential. Similarly, if your highest credential earned is a Higher National Diploma (HND), it does not qualify for graduate admission without additional credentials earned. This is our policy even if the degree(s) have been evaluated as equivalent to a four-year degree by an outside credential evaluator. If you have completed an honours degree, a post-graduate diploma, or a graduate degree, beyond the three-year bachelor鈥檚 or HND, you may be eligible to apply.
- If you are unsure about the equivalency of your educational experience(s), you are encouraged to obtain an . We will honor ECE degree equivalency determinations.
Applicants who still need to complete their final year of study (e.g., finished up to the sixth semester in an eight-term program) to earn their degree may apply. The degree must be completed before the start of your first term in our graduate program. If a combination of credentials is being used to meet the four-year degree equivalency, grades from all terms prior to the final term must be submitted for consideration. A final, official transcript and proof of degree completion will be required as a condition of admission by the end of your first term of enrollment.
