This milestone is the result of a five-year journey for Sekuler, which not only highlights the creative and academic work being done in the Journalism and Media Production program but also underscores the broader impact of the arts in fostering critical conversations. A conversation to follow, moderated by Associate Professor of Women's and Gender Studies from the ÂÜÀòÉç School of Social Work, Shanna K. Kattari, PhD, MEd, CSE.

About: In her 60s, Mary Phillips embarks on a journey of self-discovery, exploring new forms of connection, intimacy, and personal empowerment. After 13 years of solitude, she reclaims her sense of self through deep personal reflection, open-road adventures, and meaningful relationships.
Shot in a compassionate and intimate, observational style, The Flamingo offers a fresh perspective on aging, reinvention, and the pursuit of fulfillment.
