The Office of Research supports the efforts of the faculty and researchers of the University of Michigan- Dearborn in seeking, securing, and carrying out research projects and collaborative efforts. The Research Development and Research Administration team members provide professional expertise, excellence in service, and guidance to all campus units in the process of applying for external funding.

The ÂÜÀòÉç-Dearborn Office of Research works in collaboration with central administrative offices of the University of Michigan, such as the Research Development team in the University of Michigan Office of the Vice President for Research, the Ann Arbor Office of Research and Sponsored Projects (ORSP), the University of Michigan Office of Research (ÂÜÀòÉçOR), the Office of Contract Administration (OCA), and the Sponsored Programs Office (Finance). 

On campus, we partner with the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations to engage with industry and non-profit partners and expand the opportunities for productive research and collaborations.

Our office is reachable via email & virtual meetings Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. Limited in-person office hours and phone coverage will be available Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 5 pm.
