Student Success
Success in college requires preparation, hard work and determination. And its okay to ask for help in order to succeed! The University offers a range of services, including counseling, mentoring, tutoring, training and workshops to help you be successful during your time at 蹤獲扦-Dearborn and in reaching your goals after graduation.
An Engaged Campus
As a commuter campus, a majority of our students live at home to save on expenses while staying engaged in their lives outside of 蹤獲扦-Dearborn. At the same time, our students are active and involved
in over 150 student organizations, 16 varsity sports teams, research with faculty, and plenty of extracurricular activities. For Dearborn Wolverines who are looking for a more traditional residential college experience, there are three apartment communities near the University.

- Information is available at: umdearborn.edu/deposit
- The deadline to submit is May 1
- This deposit is credited to your student account and applied toward your first-semester tuition. It is not an additional fee.
- Information on a deposit waiver is found on the deposit website
- 蹤獲扦ID: Your 8-digit University of Michigan ID number (assigned to you upon admission and emailed from 蹤獲扦 Information Technology Services)
- Uniqname: Your personal University of Michigan identifier and the basis for all login access. Along with your passwords, it authorizes or authenticates you to many University systems in Dearborn and Ann Arbor. It is also part of your email address ([email protected])
- You must create at umdearborn.edu/uniqname

- Transcripts should be sent prior to your orientation
