International First-Year Admissions
How to Apply:
First-year students who have attended secondary school abroad are expected to meet the same general admissions requirements as U.S. students. Admission is competitive. We encourage students to apply as soon as possible. See deadlines below. An application will not be reviewed until all required materials have been received. A completed application includes the following:

Helpful information for creating an account, setting up your password, and checking your admission status.
- Go to the

Provide your preferred first name, last name, and email address. Then, select the Im not a robot checkbox and click Submit. - Check Your Email
You will receive an email with the subject line 蹤獲扦-Dearborns Online Application Username and Password Setup. Open the email and click the link to set your new password. - Reset Your Password
On the password reset page, click Reset Password. - Create Your New Password
Enter your new password (must include both letters and numbers) and confirm it by entering it again. Then, click Save. - Login to the Application
Once your password is saved, you will be automatically logged into the online application page.
- Go to the
Select Reset Password. - Enter Your Email Address
Enter the email address you used to create your online application account, then click Reset Password. - Check Your Email
You will receive an email titled 蹤獲扦-Dearborns Online Application Username and Password Setup. Open the email and click the link inside. - Reset Your Password
Click Reset Password on the webpage, then enter your new password twice. Make sure your password contains both letters and numbers. - Save Your New Password
Once saved, youll be automatically logged into the online application page.

- 蹤獲扦-Dearborn will not require the submission of ACT or SAT scores
- You will have the option to indicate on the admissions application if you want your test scores factored into your admission decision.
- If you choose to submit scores, follow these links to request that your SAT and/or ACT results be sent to University of Michigan-Dearborn.

- The highest composite test score is used in the Admission decision
- Newer scores should be sent to the University as they are available
- English language proficiency (may be waived in certain situations)
