CASL Staff Engagement
The CASL Staff Engagement Committee is charged with recognizing non-instructional employees for their contributions to the College, showing appreciation for their dedicated service, and fostering a positive, collegial workplace through the planning and implementation of events, programs, and activities. Please check out some of our initiatives and activities below.
CASL Staff Engagement Programs Include:
The CASL Staff Engagement Committee, along with the Dean, sends out appreciation cards and goodie bags on each staff member's work anniversary to thank them for their service and dedication to CASL.
Our Celebrating All Staff Loyalty program recognizes the good work being done by CASL staff members. Anyone within CASL can nominate a staff member for their hard work, continued dedication, and excellence in service by filling out the .
Each staff member nominated receives a certificate of recognition and is entered into a drawing for a prize at the end of each semester.
We encourage you to nominate a staff member if you see them doing a great job - the recognition of their efforts goes a long way in keeping morale high and letting our staff know how much they are appreciated!
The CASL Staff Engagement Committee is dedicated to organizing events each season to invite all CASL staff to enjoy time with their fellow colleagues while participating in fun and interactive activities.

- CASL Staff Appreciation Ice Cream Cart -- July 2024
- "De-stress from the Semest" relaxation event (coloring, puzzles, bracelet making) -- March 2024
- Volunteering at the Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit -- March 2022 and March 2023

Staff Recognition
Do you know CASL staff members who have gone above and beyond their job duties to do something for you or your program? If so, let them know just how much you appreciate their efforts by .
Awardees will have their submission creatively displayed in one of the display cases in the CASL Building for the semester nominated. Then following the semester, that group of awardees will go into a drawing for a special prize!
