Distinguished Research Team Award
The Distinguished Research Team Award recognizes interdisciplinary research teams for their innovative and meritorious research contributions in the advancement of basic and applied science, technologies, humanities, and the arts. The award recognizes teams that have produced a significant research publication, exhibition, or other research results highlighting originality and impact; teams that have created innovations which have or will have a major impact in a research field(s), an industry and/or the community; teams engaged in externally recognized research and scholarly activities and the dissemination and practical application of the research results; and teams that effectively communicate with and engage the community in their research and/or demonstrate partnership with community organizations in their research.
